I have PMDD and I usually get my period on the 11th of every month…my last period came on July 12th.
so early this morning; I started feeling emotional,I’m starting to obsess over my weight again, i’ve been feeling extremely tired since today and I’ve been eating a lot of dairy products…is it normal for my symptoms to start so soon?

usually a week before your period

your period may be coming early that’s why you are getting your symptoms now

Question by Laurie K: My niece takes Prozac for her PMDD symptoms, but she doesn’t take it on a regular basis. What effects,?
if any will this have on her symptoms? She currently lives with me and her son, and I’ve noticed on the days she doesn’t take it, she’s a regular B***h. I’ve tried telling her that she needs to take it on a regular basis, but she doesn’t think she needs to. Any ideas or information I can show her so that she’ll believe me and be a little easier to live with?

It’s still her choice. She’ll have to take the hard lesson in order to learn. The consequences she gets from not taking the medicine are going to be a lot more severe than any lesson you can teach her. If the Drs said every day, it should be every day. Back to the Dr perhaps, for an univolved, professional opinion?
WAIT she has a son? Well, no meds for Mom will affect him as well. If she can’t learn it the easy way, it’s the hard way then. Life will show her, we hope.
